The 39th World Chess Olympiad approached its equator. Only three men's teams managed to keep the pace and scored the maximum number of points – Armenia, Georgia, and Hungary. The Netherlands and Ukraine are one point behind, and 10 teams have 8 points.
The 5th round was unsuccessful for the first two Russian teams – both lost their matches with a minimal margin. Read more »
